| In analyzing audio materials for features
useful for extracting content, we must consider the value gained
by adapting our analysis algorithms to the analysis processes of
the human ear. This aspect with regard to loudness features is
thoroughly examined in this paper. The increase in correlation to
be gained by such cognitive processing is about 10%. |
