Curriculum Vitae
Lebenslauf
From 1994 to 2001, I studied Wirtschaftsinformatik
- which is a combination of computer science and business
administration - at the University of Mannheim.
Since August 2001, I'm here with the
"Lehrstuhl für Praktische Informatik IV"at
the
University
of Mannheim working towards my PhD degree. Within,
the "Lehrstuhl", my affiliations were / are:
2005 - 2007: Teaching
Assistant to Prof. Effelsberg
In April 2007, I have received my Dr. rer. nat. degree
from the University of Mannheim.
Since visibility mainly relies on internet indexes
these, a quick note about my real name: My name is Holger Füßler,
which is
F/B4LATIN SMALL LETTER U WITH DIAERESISB4/B4LATIN SMALL
LETTER SHARP SB4/l/e/r
, refering to the unicode standard letter names. The
7Bit-Version of the name would be Holger Fuessler. Some germans
tend to misspell it Füssler, because that would be then natural
spelling when hearing the name (because the ß is spoken short).
However, my favorite misspelling is Holger Fubler. I guess this
comes from OCR-Software that is only 7Bit capable not to forget
programs getting confused or even crashing when my name is
entered. So, now you know my real name. Have fun getting your
favorite typesetting program do it right. ;-)
